Medical hours are by appointment only.  Generally examination appointments are available during the following times.
Monday  8am to 5:30pm
Tuesday 8am to 5:30pm
Wednesday 8am to 5pm  We will be stationary at 15790 Stewartsville road on Wednesday
Thursday 8am to 1:30pm
Friday 8am to 4pm

Refills on your pet's medication may be picked up at our pet boutique during the following hours: Mon 2-6pm,  Wed 8am -6pm, Thursday from around 2pm-4pm, Friday from 8am-1pm.  For Interceptor, Frontline and food refills there is no need to call ahead.  For other medications, please give us 24 hours notice as most of our medications will be in the pharmacy of our mobile hospital.  With notice we can fill the medications when we return in the evening and leave them with one of our assistants for you to pick up the next day.  You can also get refills by using our online pharmacy.  These medications will be mailed to your house.  In an emergency, if you forget to give us notice, please give us a call and we can make arrangments to meet you somewhere so that your pet will not have to go without his or her medications. 

Please call us to set an appointment for us to examine your pet.  Appointments generally last from 30 to 45 minutes depending on the nature of the visit.    In most cases, tests and radiographs can be performed during your appointment.    If this is your first visit please have your previous medical records handy or allow us to call your previous vet ahead of time so that Dr. Crovo can familiarize herself with your pet's medical history.

Dr. Melanie Crovo is a sole practitioner.  This means that generally she is the only veterinarian that works at Furry Friends.  In order to get continuing education and to spend time with family, there may be times that Dr. Crovo is not available for appointments.  During these times, there will be either a qualified relief (substitute) veterinarian available or we will refer you to another veterinary clinic for services requiring immediate attention.  We appreciate your understanding.  While Dr. Crovo loves seeing patients, she also believes that occasional time away from work allows her to keep her interest in veterinary medicine fresh and helps prevent burnout.
